Plan for the earlier limit
The active Seawall Expedite application closes before midnight Eastern at the end of November 30, 2026. The City also says seawall applications are accepted on a rolling basis until capacity. Do not treat the calendar date as a promise that space will remain available until then. These sources were checked October 23, 2026; availability can change.
Receipt order is not a funding reservation
The City reviews applications in the order received, with awards subject to eligibility, available funds, and approved costs. A saved draft, a contractor proposal, or a consulting engagement is not an award. Ask the City what constitutes a complete submission and how any missing information is handled.
Use the preparation time for the hard-to-replace records
- Locate the actual Elevation Certificate. A general survey is not a substitute accepted by the active form.
- Check that flood insurance is active and gather the ownership records required by the program.
- Identify who can authorize the application and provide any owner or association signatures and certifications.
- Prepare a list of missing records and questions. Keep identity, insurance, and income files out of this website.
Separate the application from the rest of the project
The application cutoff does not establish a construction start date, a permit approval, or an extension of a City notice. Confirm reimbursement conditions before committing to work. Your actual notice and the issuing office determine the response requirements for an enforcement case.
Where paid application support fits
Our planned service helps organize requirements and prepare application paperwork with owner authorization. The owner remains responsible for any required signatures, certifications, identity verification, or acceptance of government terms. An agreed consulting scope and fee would be separate from the City’s funding decision. The grant guide explains the program structure; the consultation page explains the proposed support.
Planning information only, not an inspection, engineering or legal advice, compliance determination, or quote. Confirm project requirements with the City and qualified professionals.
